Missing My Girls - Student Work

This is for you Olivia, Breeana, and Angeline.  My beautiful Advanced 3-D students.  Want to show you off a bit with your creative solutions to the last assignment of the year, the metal jewelry unit.
Starting with senior Olivia Hill's piece above, the kids were required to use at least 2 of the 7 metal working skills they learned in the previous year's class and create either a necklace, bracelet or pin.  Olivia went with this lovely necklace piece that she annealed, etched and wire embellished with the addition of glass beads.
In this next stunning piece, senior Breeana Johng also chose to make a necklace, going so far as to even creating her own chain.  Oh Yeah!!
And then Breeana really outdid herself when creating these next  two gorgeous pieces.  First this necklace with the fun kinetic, asymmetrical design...
just look at those details...
and then this very colorful pin.
I know you three are leaving soon to start your first year in college.  Know that I will be thinking of you, missing you and I hope this next journey in your lives will include much joy and happiness, and also a bit of arts & crafts along the way.  Love you.
