WE LOST A LOVED ONE TODAY

It is with great sadness that I share this news today.
My husband's daughter Julie,
my beautiful step daughter,
her husband Mike and and our grandson Sydney
lost their beloved pup Puck last night after 9 years of love and companionship.
Julie posted today the heartbreaking news:

"It is with one of my heaviest hearts that I share last night our Puck, AKA Roo Dog, Rickshaw, Poohaw, and simply Paw, passed away. Puck, you were loving, loyal, funny, itchy, and even smelly at times, but you were family and loved to pieces. May your allergies subside and may there be abundant cuddles in doggy heaven. We will miss you more than you can imagine...."

Jim - The Dog Whisperer

Sophie Jean's cousins, Miesha and Puck, came by for a sleep over recently, and Sophie had to give up her seat in Jim's lap for Miesha, the queen  LOL.  This was the scene when I pulled into the garage so I quickly grabbed my camera.
Too cute!

Happy Father's Day To All the Dads in My Life

To Vinnie Sposa, head of the familia, you are the most handsome, wonderful father-in-law a girl could hope for.  Miss and love you and we will be there soon.
To Jimmy Sposa, my love, and the greatest Pop-Pop with his grand babies.  They adore you, wonder why?  LOL
Jim, you are the best father to all our children, always giving of your time, and helping our kids out at the drop of a hat.  Here you are under your son James' car helping him drop the trannie...
sharing your many musical talents with Zach, and encouraging him to play...
waiting so patiently and never complaining as we shop for Dani's college gear...
attending all our special functions...
entertaining your grand doggies...
enjoying and hanging out with your beautiful daughter Julie whenever you can...
and taking excellent care of our baby Sophie.  Thank you sweetheart!

James, not only are you the most gorgeous stepson with the healing hands (he's our physical therapist at Ando Aston in Anaheim Hills), but you are an amazing daddy to your children (you take after your dad), and an excellent cook to boot (from your grandma or Giada? certainly not your dad  LOL).
And our Julie's husband Mike, we are especially proud of the man you are, a loving and attentive husband to Jul, a wonderful son to your folks Mary Ann and Joe, and a great father to your daughter Aleah.  May you continue to make your mark with the Orange County Sheriff's Dept.  They have a gem in you, and they know it!  You are their rising superstar!

And  to Inars Agrums, father to our children together, you are the best daddy, always there for them, supportive, hard working, and the best "ex" a girl could ask for  LOL
And you are also the best caretaker for all Dani's animals, Bogie, Lily and Yeezy.  But don't let her talk you into anymore!  LOL
Happy Father's Day to All.  Love you Boys!!!!

What Do They Say About Letting Sleeping Dogs Lie?

It's been so cold here in So. Cal. this winter that Sophie can mostly be found hibernating under our blankets and quilts.  Sometimes her little nose isn't even sticking out, I don't know how she can breathe.

My favorite is when she gets under the covers with me to take a quick nap, she's like a hot water bottle keeping me warm.  Here we are in Jim's "Man Cave" napping on the floor under the beautiful wedding quilt my cousin Linda made for us.  I love how she has her sweet little head on the pillow next to me as I sleep.
We've also had Miesha and Puck over for a couple of weekend sleep-overs.  They like to squeeze into Sophie's doggy bed and keep each other warm.  Too cute!

Puppy Update

Our Princess Sophie got to do an overnight-er this summer with her boyfriend Bogie when my ex took care of her for a few days while Jim and I flew down to Florida to visit my in-laws
So Inars treated both pups to his giant bathtub and gave them a good scrubbing with Danielle's help.

But mostly Soph likes to hang with her cousins, Miesha and Puck, who are frequent visitors to our home, where they know the treats and car rides are plentiful.  Miesha likes to strut around with her chew bone while the other two demolish theirs in mere seconds.
But now that Sophie is two years and a budding teenager, mostly she just likes to chill with her favorite play toys.

Doggie Update

Sophie had her cousins over again this weekend for a sleep over, so of course I had to snap a few pix.  Here's my new son-in-law Mike with Miesha.  Too cute!  And ladies, Mike's not so bad either  LOL

Puck... the Creeper....

Jim's daughter Julie sent this to us the other day and it had me laughing out loud in my classroom, the kids must have thought I'd lost it.

Sophie Update

Sophie had her cousins, Miesha and Puck, over for a sleepover recently, and I couldn't resist snapping this pix when they wouldn't budge from the car.  They were ready to roll, and had to be pried out.  We had 3 very disappointed dawgs.

Summertime with The Sposas

Yep, that's about all we do around here is lie around and hang out with our kids and dogs.
Or drive around with our second set of grand kids for an over-nighter at our house.
Or pose for pix.
But sometimes Miesha gets a little car sick (above) when she isn't hanging on for dear life (below) as Jim takes a corner a little to fast.
But mostly everyone just wants to chill and not be bothered.
Especially our little Sophie...
but give her my empty peanut butter jar to lick clean and she perks right up.  :)
But our favorite times are hanging out with our other two grand kids, J.V. and Kenzie, their Auntie Julie, and Uncle Mike , and their mommy and daddy Carrie and James.
