YUCK!

BEWARE!
Students still in training.

Training my new students not to use the clay bucket for a trash can is always a challenge.
You just never know what you will find buried in the clay.
So far this year we have found broken bisque fired shards of clay,
ceramic tools,
and these nasty Kleenez.
Gross...

Oops!

Someone lost their cell phone in the clay bucket.
These kids just can't do anything,
including working with messy clay fingers,
without their cell phones close by.

Asha, Asha, Asha.

We've Reached the End...

many times this year.  My new Ceramics I class is going to town on our recycle clay bucket.  In the 34 years I've been teaching here we've only reached rock bottom twice.   And you are thinking, what happens when there is no more free recycled clay to use??   They have to break down and buy a bag from the art dept.   $9 for 25 pounds, lasts a long time  :)  What a deal, right?
I think this might be junior Tiffany Chu  LOL
