This past month we've had several raccoon sightings thru our cabin yard,
and last night our neighbor was able to capture the entire family on his camera
as they were headed our way.
I love how each of their tails looks a little bit different.
I believe this is mom and dad and their two teenagers.
The drought here in Texas has the nocturnal critters coming out by day ... grey foxes in particular, scrawny with want in contrast to your well-fed raccoons
ReplyDeleteSadly we are going again into drought status here in the Southland of Cali. The huge reservoir by our house is almost empty, the one that was so full last year that the firefighters used to fill their copters with that I posted about. Our raccoons are really chubby this year, they have been knocking over a lot of trash cans in the area, along with our local bear. Do you put out water for your critters? I have a birdbath out that the raccoons are getting into to wash their food. What a mess they make. But so dang cute.
