Kids are never too old for an Easter egg hunt, especially when the plastic eggs are loaded with over $100 in bills and change. What the kids don't know is that I collected most of that money from the bottom of the washing machine over the past year. Pretty sneaky, huh? The money was really theirs to begin with, they just forgot to empty their pockets. What's that old saying about finders keepers? But in the end I just had to give it back, but it was distributed 3 ways with Zach's new girlfriend, Candice, a 3rd year Architecture major at Cal Poly Pomona. The day was beautiful and ended with a great big Italian dinner, almost like my mommy used to make.
