my students and my classroom.
Here are a bunch of adorable 8th graders working away on their
Sun Motif Portfolios.
I believe this was from the school year 2017-2018.
I'm guessing these sweet little ones are seniors this year
and will be graduating in June.
Damn,
the time goes by so very quickly.
I wonder if I'd recognize them anymore?
oh, I so get this ... I am missing our Hill Country house ... wondering if I would recognize it, thinking I don't really want to see it any differently than the memories I have of it
ReplyDeletemay the new year bring joys that fill our hearts and turn our eyes to the goodness around us ... may you be happy ... may your family be healthy ... may the world be at peace
I bet you are Liz, it was such a wonderful home and grounds with all you and Don had created over the years. So you haven't been back to see it then? I was feeling nostogic the other day and drove by the home my ex and I raised our children in and I was greeted with the most wonderful surprise. The daffodill bulbs I had planted some 20 years ago were blooming as well as the my camellia bushes that have grown so large and full of flowers. It brought me so much joy. It's the little things like that that fill my heart these days. I would so love to drop in and ask to see the plants in the backyard, it looked like one of the orange trees I put in was full of fruit too. But I don't want to scare or freak out the new owners. It was recently re-sold. I really do struggle with change. Always have. But anyways, Happy New Year to you my dear friend. And thank you for continuing to stop in with your upligfting messages. I so look forward to hearing from you.
