To complete this tiny little hand stitched work. I started it in the summer of 2009 and finished it finally last week. I call this technique "Painted Embroidery" because it's like you are painting the canvas with your needle and thread. I used multi-colored strands of DMC's perle cottons, and then I framed it up.
