All my clay kids loved this bowl as soon as it came out of the kiln.

Senior Nicolas Tudor made this as a gift for his sister (lucky girl).

This was an assignment for my 2nd year clay students.

To throw a bowl and trim it on the potter's wheel using Porcelain clay. 

And then after it came out of the bisque firing 

they were to use ceramic oxide filled pencils to draw a design with.

Then a quick dip in transparent glaze.

I really like how Nick thought to carry his design to the back side of the bowl.
