The daffs are on their way out and the lilacs are in for a very short time.
They grow wild up here on the mountain
. so when I take my walks I see gorgeous shades of purples everywhere.
We have two large bush/trees on either side of our cabin entrance steps,
so when they are in bloom they frame that opening so nicely.
They were my mother Patti's favorite flower.
She always talked about how much she missed them after she came out to Southern Cal from back east in the 40's.
Well I picked some for you mommy.
