Blue Ribbon Award

Last Wednesday,

 December 10, 

our school celebrated with the community our 5th National Blue Ribbon Award.

The Cerritos Mayor, 

Mark Pulido, (a Whitney Alum), 

came and spoke to our students,

as well as several of our District Board Members.

1000 + T-shirts arrived, 

one for each student, staff and faculty member,

and

1000 scrumptious cupcakes were delivered, 

one for every student.

And at the end of the assembly,

Mr. Z, 

our beloved physics/photography teacher used his wide angle lens to capture the event.
