Third Times a Charm - My Work

Only took me 3 tries to get this Shibori technique to really look good.
This is a folding resist technique much like tye-dye, only after folding your clamp the fabric very tightly between two pieces of whatever you have on hand.  I used the lids of vegetable cans.  You can see the imprint of the pop-top in the upper right corner.  But like I said, the first two times just didn't come out interesting enough for me, so I refolded a different way and dipped it in the indigo bucket a third time.  What I really like is all the different values of blue I was able to get.

I learned this technique in the workshop I took with Glennis Dolce two years ago.
