Now that my Beginning 3-D students have some dyeing skills under their belts
they are exploring a range of possibilities. Here junior Kaili Hamada has walked the school grounds to find fallen blossoms from all our plant life. She decided that instead of trying to boil these in water or steam them, she was just going to rub and pound their pigments into the canvas of her shoes and laces.
Who knew there was so much color in those leaves and petals??
