I just said good-bye to these two masks up at The Trinket Trader in Crestline. This top one was one of my favs. that I made recently and demonstrated with for my students, and wasn't sure if I should let it go, but I've got to pay the rent, right? I wanted to show the kids what all the oxides looked like stained onto the clay body, and I really liked the effect.
The one below was done several years ago for my students and it's fun to compare the two and see that my style is evolving, getting more textural and colorful. We'll see what I do this year for them, the demo is tomorrow. :)
