The Blue Jays are thriving up in Crestline...
especially at our cabin where I'm feeding them peanuts and sunflower seeds. They have multiple birdhouses to choose from and a big bird bath to sip from and bathe in.
They are definitely living the good life!
Saw a woodpecker last weekend but before I could get to my camera, he was gone. Very pretty thing, a white head on a black body with a red-orange neck and touches of white on his side flying feathers.
I think I'll ask for a bird book from Santa Claus this year.
