My Beginning 3-D class really enjoyed our recent Shibori unit. Above are the entire classes results.
What was so cool was the variety of results that came from the couple of techniques we covered. Above is my 1st practice piece that I did at home complete with the stitching diagrams below it.
This next practice piece of mine is the one I demonstrated and taught the class with. So each student did a practice piece like mine to try out all the techniques first. After seeing their results they were to pick at least 2 of the techniques and make an original design with them. So below were their finished results. Love the variety as well as the critical thinking for the designs!
