Thank you for your comment, these are even more brilliant in person with the oil pastels. We used both Elmers as well as Tacky glue on crummy regular black construction paper. Make sure to allow glue to dry completely before you bring in oil pastels. Usually it takes about 24 hours. Good luck! I tried it with chalk with my son when he was very young and he was fine with it. Try and see what you think.ARTISUNhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12636355437964411251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693840035768093010.post-1452686609519314732021-09-27T13:27:18.269-07:002021-09-27T13:27:18.269-07:00does this work pretty good with chalk pastels as w...does this work pretty good with chalk pastels as well? The oil pastels that our school has don't seem to blend as well as I'd like and I know with chalk pastels it will blend better. I've tried this technique only with chalk pastls- I had no idea oil pastls would work as well- isn't hard to get them close to the glue lines?Misshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14505411826646402867noreply@blogger.com
