Didn't figure on 11 and 12 year old fingers being a little less clean than my grown up ones. When the pieces were completed and in obvious need of cleaning, colors ran. A hard lesson to learn at someone else's expense.<br /><br />And yes, I still forget the pre-wash and color test steps more often than I care to admit.<br /><br />But what I have also learned is that it is a rare test piece that is totally unusable ... its unexpected form may inspire a new direction on a new piece of work.
