Ya Never Know What You're Going to Find...

Working with junior and senior high kids can sometimes be challenging.  Over the past 32 years I've seen a lot of things I'd rather not, so it's a good thing that I have a fairly warped sense of humor.  And for some reason these things end up in my clay recycle bucket, like a surprise waiting for me to find.  Like this interesting sculpture by sophomore Aman Patel.  What I'm thinking is that Aman had way too much time on his hands during my class, or perhaps I'm not working these young ones hard enough?  Luckily it doesn't happen very often, maybe once every 2 years or so.  But when it does, I simply smile and shake my head, cuz kids are gonna be kids.  LOL

  1. :) I taught senior English. Don't miss the lesson plans, but do miss the kids! About half and half on some of the surprises!
