Senior Chareena Eleazar, my only Ceramic II student this last year, took to the potter's wheel like a duck to water. One of her assignments on the wheel was to make 2 plates, one out of porcelain clay with ceramic pencil designs drawn on, and the 2nd plate was to be thrown but altered when it was still plastic. These are the results. Very cool pieces Chareena!
